Fashion and Faith Inspiration (Audrey Hepburn)

Fashion Inspiration
Audrey Hepburn is a timeless classic. Her elegance, beauty, and poise has left a remarkable legacy that I only wish Hollywood and Fashion would decide to follow. When I think of Audrey the first thing that comes to my mind is Breakfast at Tiffany's , it is one of my favorite movies (I could watch it over and over). Then I think of her elegance and fashion. She could wear a trash bag and make it look amazing. The reason why I think she was able to do this is because of what was in her heart. She grew old and still looked beautiful and throughout her life her elegance never faded no matter how many wrinkles she obtained. She believed in helping others, being gentle and kind was how she sought to be beautiful. It's funny to me that the fashion and movie industry idolize her so much but fail to imitate her humbleness and loving heart. Above I made a collage of my favorite pictures of her. I chose all of these pictures because of what she was wearing ( the yellow dress is my favorite) except for two. Audrey has some famous quotes and this is my favorite. Why? Because she acknowledges God. She says "Walk with the knowledge that you are never alone." and that's how you will be poise. That's why I believe she was so poise, is because she walked with the knowledge that God was always with her! The picture of her holding the child is my ultimate most favorite picture of Audrey Hepburn ever to be taken. It shows an older less glamorous Hepburn, but to me she has never looked more beautiful. I think she really got it, she understood that this life is not about us but about our maker, and that it is so important to help others in need, to offer your selves in love. She became a Humanitarian and even has her own foundation you can check it out at www.audreyhepburn.com At the end of the day Audrey Hepburn is just another person, but she is someone that I admire, her fashion was effortless and always classy and chic (I wish I could go through what used to be her closet.) and her beauty remained until she took her last breath. But most importantly she had faith and a very unique way of sharing it.
