Thrifty Sunday's

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all have a had  good weekend! Yesterday was a day of goodbyes for me. I leave for college on Wednesday so I spent my last Sunday with my second church family and had my last night at youth group. It was pretty emotional for me. Saying goodbye to people that have played such a big part in building you spiritually is difficult but I find myself in awe of Jesus. The Holy Spirit led me to this verse in the bible and it gave me so much perspective. "Send out your Spirit and they spring to life." Psalm 104:30 The Spirit of God gives me life. It regenerates me, fills me, sustains me. The Holy Ghost is so much more than a feeling it's the Spirit of God living inside of us. I find it so amazing that God's grace is so abundant that He fills us sinners, imperfect people, with His Spirit. It amazes me that He gives us sinners, imperfect people so much grace that we can have the gift of prophecy, healing, speaking in other tongues, and so much more. I'm so in awe that God gives us His Spirit so that we might be sanctified and empowered to share the amazing love of Jesus with others. His Spirit really does bring to life and I couldn't imagine my life without constantly being filled with and indwelt by the Holy Spirit. God is so good and I'm so excited to see His Spirit work through me in college.

So yesterdays outfit was a total of $6! I got the top for $3 at a local store and this beautiful pleated skirt at the Goodwill for $3! I love thrifting, it was the first thing I saw when I walked in the store, it's like it was made for me. The color is beautiful and I love the sheer pleated fabric. I love the high waisted style and below knee length, it was fabulous. I also love that this skirt can be worn super dressy or dressed down with flats and a t-shirt. Casual Friday

Hey everyone! Happy Friday. It feels so great have the day off and just to relax, prepare for college, and spend time with friends. Speaking of friends one of my best friend came over today and gave me this dress. I know I'm already wearing it and just got it but I couldn't resist. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love stripes! And this gray colored dress is absolutely perfect. I love the fit and length! I paired it with a gray cardigan, white lace flats, and a necklace. I love how casual and fun this dress is, it's also super light weight which is so perfect for this hot weather. I love that my friends are so great and know my personality of dress. I definitely recommend that everyone gets a comfy t-shirt dress like this I can already tell that it's going to be one of my favorite wardrobe pieces. Have a blessed weekend everyone!

Dresses and Blessings.

 Happy Sunday everyone. I hope you all have had a blessed day. Today I am so thankful that God remains the same even through the pain we experience in life. His love is overwhelmingly amazing. This morning I was watching Apostle Guillermo Maldonado from King Jesus Ministry preach (he is an amazing man of God and that ministry is on fire with God's supernatural power it's amazing I love, love, love, that church!) and He said something that I needed a great reminder of "let the love of God flow in your hearts, let it wash away impurities, let His love embrace you." It was awesome to hear because I think so many times we get caught up in other things and forget simply to acknowledge and be embraced by the amazing pure love of God. His love stays the same no matter the situation and I am so thankful for that. Jude 1:21 says "Keep yourselves in God's love." As we get ready to enter into another week lets take this verse to heart and remember to constantly seek Jesus, fellowship with Him, and allow the love of God to wash over us daily. It's amazing the God of the universe has a love for us greater than anything in the world.

 Today's outfit was super comfortable and casual. I love that I can wear a dress and make it comfortable, movable, and super cute. I've had this dress for years and it's a little to big so I paired it with a cardigan and waist belt. I love the airy feel of the dress because it's so hot in Florida and the flower print on the fabric is so pretty! I'm not a huge fan of brown and black together but I loved the way this looked so I couldn't resit. I wore these new sandals I got from Target (only $9!!) they're super comfortable and I love the classy  gladiator look they have. Hope you all enjoyed today's post! Love you guys! Graduation Dress

Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday. I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day, I was working :(
But it's okay I got to make up for it today by going shopping! Anyways this past Saturday I graduated high school! To be honest my favorite part of graduation was the dress I got to wear. I love this color blue! It's my favorite. I also loved the fit of the dress and the panels that lined it. The high neckline is my favorite (super classy). The dress was really simple so I added the statement necklace to make it pop. I paired it with nude wedges and straight hair!  Overall this dress was perfect. Sometimes simplicity is the best way to go. The key is not to take a simple dress and make it dramatic. Just go with other simple accessories that bring out the outfit a little more. The material, color fit, style, and length had me feeling elegant all day long. And it was originally $80 but on sale for $22!! Everyone loves a good sale!

Outfit of the day.

 Happy Sunday everyone! And Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful mom's out there. I love you so much Mom! You're the absolute best. I love you more than you will ever know. 

I love today's outfit. I thought I would get a little dressed up for church today so I decided to wear heels. (I really suck at walking in heels and they hurt my feet so much so this was a BIG deal for me.) But the outfit turned out being really cute so it was worth it. My mom helped me pick out the shoes (she's the best). I love this top, it is really slimming and has polka dot print which is my favorite! And it was only $10 at Target! To be honest I have no idea where this skirt came from. My mom gave it to me one day and it was way to big and really long, so I decided to hem it and take it in on the sides to make it fit me. Fashion week review (Oscar de la Renta)

                Fashion Week is the best. And Oscar de la Renta just made it even better. Last night he premiered his Spring 2014 collection. Stunning, Elegant, Colorful, Unique. These  are just some of the words to describe the amazing collection. I was in complete awe while watching the show last night. His designs never fail to amaze me. Here are some of my favorites.

Golden Goddess.  The color of this dress is phenomenal. It's a beautiful combination of gold and copper with the perfect shimmering touch.

Floral Dots.  I'm in love. First the design of the dress its self . The bodice and then the a line skirt. And then he combines my two favorite prints, floral and polka dots. I love the contrast of the tiny white polka dots and the vibrant colors of the floral print. 

Spanish Fairy-tale. I think this is my absolute favorite  piece out of the whole collection. The colors, the shape, the patterns. It is all amazing.It's an ultra feminine classy dress with a hint of magic. 

Soft Glam.  This dress is fierce. Just looking at it makes me feel confident. I love the soft color, contrasting fabrics , and the amazing shoes. 

Audrey Dress. This dress has Audrey Hepburn written all over it. You really can't get any classier than this.  

The perfect coat.  Black and white. My two favorite color combinations. I adore this  piece. The mix match patterns, skinny long sleeves, and over sized collar. Yep it's perfect. 

Beautiful Lace. What's not to love? The long sleeves , short cut, and Spanish style lace flow together perfectly. 

The perfect skirt. Every woman/lady should own a skirt like this. Why? Because it is the definition of  elegance. The cut is executed perfectly, right at the knees and waist. Not only does it have a slimming effect but makes modest look good. The shoes and cropped top are just the icing on the cake.

Hey guys! Happy Friday, I hope everyone has been dong great. It's been a while since I've posted a fashion post and it's driving me crazy! I just went shopping this past weekend and got some really cute things so I thought now is the perfect time to share. My favorite purchase is this gorgeous pencil skirt. I got it for $15 at Forever 21 and I love it. The cobalt blue color of the print is one of my favorite colors and it is such a comfortable skirt. I felt so classy wearing it and it even gave me a boost of confidence (I love it when clothes do that). I paired it with nude flats (pay less) a white tank top (Forever 21) and the most amazing earrings( Forever 21). I hope you guys enjoy today's outfit post as much as I do!
